Between a Sign and a Hard Place

For the past 4 days, I've been living alone since my mom's on a business trip to Vietnam and I opted to stay behind because.. Let's be frank. There's not much to do in Vietnam anyway. So, I've been spending my days alone, shopping and wandering the streets of MNL looking for interesting things to do to kill time. I tried doing the whole ukay thing the other day in Katipunan and Anonas. I'll be doing a separate blog post about that. Meanwhile, here are my latest finds in the mall and presents that I got for my birthday too. I know I've said that anything that starts with a 5++ onwards price tag is a turn off to me but, I decided to splurge a bit this time since I've been having a bad month.

An XOXO Secret Code Long Wallet from one of my dearest friends, Shamy! :)

Calvin Klein bags from daddy! It was a lucky find. Really cheap for a well renowned brand and sturdy too! :)

(Please excuse my hideous sheets, haha!)

I am addicted to nautical prints! Anchors, stripes, helms, sailboats -- the whole 9 yards! I was automatically attracted to this top because of the unconventional color. It's almost like turquoise/sea green, which isn't typically used for nautical designs (the usual, red, blue, white and gold). I've also had a growing love for this color recently, I knew I just had to buy this piece :)

Lo and behold, my most prized clothing possession as of this day. Isn't it beautiful? It's a sheer sleeveless top with sailboat embroidery detailing. It's just magnificent! I don't usually shop for clothes at the Ramp anymore since they're too expensive, but this was worth the splurge. I know I'll be able to use it a lot of ways and times!

Look at the detail on this baby! I'll post a look of how I'd wear this soon! :)

I got this top in Eastwood, at the plaza(?) there. They have THEEE best buys in that place! 100-150 on almost everything, and they're certainly fashionable. I love the cut of this piece and how it instantly slims you down because of the cut and the way the stripes are positioned in a slanted way rather than the usual horizontal one.

That's all for this weekend, I've got a lot more stuff in my room I haven't shared with you guys!! I will definitely post them all when I have the time. Thanks for reading!
