Thirsty Thursday

First and foremost, let me apologize for being M.I.A. for the past couple of weeks. School's been rough with all the piled up requirements which remained untouched all before a day they were due. So I had to cram, rush and do what I had to. Haha. :) I talk as if you guys check out this page every day for updates. Pardon my conceitedness.

On to more important news.. La Salle has decided to do the whole 6 school days shindig which in turn  has put one of our greatest traditions to rest.. that which we call HAPPY THURSDAY. To the non-La Sallians or whoever, Happy Thursday is a tradition in which academically burdened youngsters take a break from the stress of it all by drinking (or should I say engulfing) bottles and buckets of cool Red Horse/Tanduay Ice or shoots of randomly mixed drinks that make you wanna kiss random people after then take a good ol' barf in the parking lot. Here's how I spent it during my freshman year..

And today, as students all over DLSU commemorated this beloved tradition by finishing up all the possible alcoholic drinks they could find.. Chubbs and I decided to spend the day shopping @ Greenhills. Haha! Here are what we bought :)

Marc Jacobs Workwear in Sea Green. It kind of looks more bluish here due to the lighting :) It's greener in person.

Black and white striped bag with red and gold detailing ♥ Chubbs snuck out while I was getting Gian's gift wrapped and got me this. So sweet, guuh ♥ Thanks, love!

Don't you think this cropped top is gorgeous? ♥ Can't wait to wear it to dance class! Dirty Dancing vibe, right? Thank you, flipfold! :)

Army Green Toms! Looking for comfy shoes to go with any outfit? These are perfect! ♥

To top it off, some random guy came up to us and offered this! He was with his kids and there weren't any cartoons so I think they decided to "donate" it to us instead. How sweet! haha. Truly a happy unconventional thursday ♥

Enjoy reading!
xx, Carla

Young and Wreckless

I met Georgina Wilson today. I am.... BEYOND HAPPY.

This is how our conversation went..
Carla: Hi! I'm so sorry to disturb you guys, but I'm such a huge fan and I just wanted to give this gift!!
Georgina: Aww, thank you!! I love your outfit!!
Carla: ARE YOU SERIOUS? THAT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME
Georgina and friends: Aww, she's so cute!

Haha, yes. I am a fan girl. Don't you guys think she's just the most gorgeous thing ever? My brother likes her too, one of our favorite topics whenever we get the chance to talk is Georgina. Haha. Well, if you guys are wondering what outfit she loved... Here are a couple of pictures.

Top: Swap Meet @ Downey Landing
Blazer: Ambiance @ LA Fashion District
Bondage skirt: The Ramp
Bag: Gucci
Necklace: Tiffany and Co.

The heels are worth the pain. And as Liz Uy once said, they're not heels if they're not 4 inches ;) Happy reading everyone. And most especially, stay safe. Nature is getting some huge ass pay back with what's been happening, stay calm and vigilant. Pray for all those who've been affected by the earthquakes and tsunamis. Hoping you're all safe at home now. ♥

Near Wild Heaven

This just in!!!! Please welcome my newest babies. Aren't they gorgeous? If you say no then I'll have to punch you in the face. I kid you not.

Thanks to Yumi's Seventh Heaven Shop for making my dream possible <3

Hi, Society.

This post is inspired by Vern's blogspot :) I don't know her personally, but I have seen her in school and do follow her blog a lot. Haha. Basically this is my make up routine, I'm no expert though so pardon me if you think I'm doing it wrong.

1. TRUblend by Covergirl in Warm Beige 445
2. ELF brushes (Foundation brush and Bronzing brush)
3. TRUblend pressed powder in no.2
4. TRUblend concealer in no.2
5. ELF waterproof eyeliner pen in Black
6. ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
7. Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express in Very Black

I have super sensitive skin and if I don't use products that are as "gentle" on my face as I need them to be then I break out. Luckily, these products have kept my face sane the past few months and I'm not thinking of changing my make-up routine. Sooo, that has been post number 2 for today. I'm a chatty girl which means you won't be disappointed with my blogging habits. Haha. Enjoy!

A Person of Interest

Hello, my name is Carla. A lot of people claim that they know me (i.e. Carla's a bitch) but in reality they don't and I've safely assumed that making a blog is my easiest way out of breaking my stereotype. So for starters, I'm 17 years old turning 18 this April -- yes I know I don't look my age or talk like it. I'm taking up AB Development Studies in DLSU Manila, a course unknown to most but I'll explain that in a different post. Hmm, what else.. I've surrounded myself with a good set of friends, their identity will remain secret for the time being. Now on to one of my passions, I really do like fashion. I believe it is an extension of who you are and a form of self expression. I'm a thrift shopper, in case you guys don't know. It doesn't mean I'm cheap, it means I'm practical. My go to store? Always and forever the SM department store (hence my blog name), 75% of my closet is full of clothing purchased from SM and is incorporated in my everyday wear. So let me show you a couple of pictures.

Top: SM Department Store
Skirt: Forever 21
Sandals: SM Department Store
Feather Earring: Thrifted
Accessores: Tiffany and Co., Wristy Business and Anne Klein

This is what I wore during Wristy Business's first bazaar :)

And this was what I wore on the 2nd day.

Cardigan: Zara
Floral bustier: SM Department Store
High-waist shorts: The Young and Rusty
Belt: Charlotte Russe
Sandals: Old Navy
Accessories: Tiffany and Co., Casio (not seen in picture)

So in a nutshell, this is my style. Think you know me now? Let me know. :)
