Crazy for Shoe. ♡

Ngek! Corny naman ng title ko! Haha. Anyway!! This post is about my faaaaaaavorite local shoe store ever! I really cannot stop raving about this brand to my friends and family, and I own numerous pairs of their shoes as proof of being a fan of the brand :) So it was a great honor for me to get the blessing of Kit whose mom owns this enterprise, to promote their shoe brand. :) I prepared a couple of outfits with different "themes" in which all Shoebox shoes fit the occasion (like they always do)! :)

P.S.
None of these shoes cost more than P 899.00 ;)

Working Girl

I came from a career orientation earlier that day, and we were required to wear a corporate outfit so I made the most out of the occassion! :) I'll be starting my internship with the Department of Foreign Affairs soon, and I've been setting up my wardrobe for that occasion. I have a sturdy pair of sexy work pumps, but let's face it.. I can't wear those everyday, much less, the whole day.. So this pair is perfect as back up shoes, or they could be your shoes for the whole day if you wanna be comfortable and mobile. :)

Sweetheart Tween

When I was in high school, sadly, I only had one pair of flats.. They were faux Crocs.. HAHAHA. Please, feel free to laugh now. Looking back, I wish I could've had nicer pairs of flats instead of those stupid grey faux Crocs that I insisted on wearing all the time. My mom, too, was a hindrance to my shoe collection then because she didn't want to splurge on flats that I wouldn't be able to use often since I was in my uniform everyday, anyway. However, high schoolers, it'll be very easy to convince your parents to buy these flats because they're VERY affordable -- and let's admit it, there are lots of "affordable" flats out there but will never match our expectations.. But with Shoebox, the styles are always up to date and fashionable, you won't even have to worry about finding a cute AND affordable pair of shoes. :)

Monday Blues

Honestly, this is a reflection of my "college" style. I'd describe my style as "nautical with an edge". I incorporated a denim polo with a breton striped shirt, and black denim jeans with brown moccasins, which I think screams nautical but edgy :) Haha. Whenever I try looking for shoes that are "in" for the season, I ALWAYS find them at Shoebox. Brogues, moccassins, clogs, wedges, and simple flats -- you name it they've got it, and all under a 1,000 pesos! Perfect for college students talaga!

Sunday Brunch

As I said, I'm your ultimate nautical girl!! Haha, which is very visible in this outfit. During Sundays, which are my chill days, wherein I don't think about what I have to wear, I just throw something in blue, red, or stripes and it looks extra chic already. :) The shoes are really what make this outfit! I mean look at them.. Feminine, non bulky brogues? WHAT IS PERFECTION. This pair is beautiful! I'll probably get it for myself when I've saved up a bit! And you should too!! :)

  1. I've always wanted to start my shoe collection but whenever I see something I really like, I'd always tell myself that there are more important things I could spend my money on. And it's frustrating 'cause I just end up spending all my money on food and then regret it later because I ate too much (and I mean TOO MUCH. I remember eating three days' worth of food in just one seating. Gross, I know. And yes, I am fat). So, I decided to just buy what I like and think is worth it, and start my diet. I love the fact that I am now able to buy the shoes I want, and at the same time, get healthy by losing those unhealthy fats! :) I can't say that I love shoes more than my health but you see, with this deal, I win at both!! :)

Honestly, this is the first time I've heard of Shoebox. Thanks to your blog :) Nice to know that the number of local brands that sell stylish but affordable stuff is growing! If I win this giveaway, it would be a great help to me since I don't have a lot of shoes and I only have one pair of flats! :)

You're doing a good job in your blog, Carla. :)

I really love shoes and i can't define how much my love for shoes are. I'm a big fan of flats and sandals but i'm not really into high heels and wedges, for me 2" heels in enough. Maybe because i always wanted to feel comfortable and flats do that. Even flats can look fashionable in it's own way. In my own opinion, shoes are the one who completes your outfit. Even if your dress/clothes are really stunning but your shoes doesn't you will not get the attention of the crowd. I have this favorite quote from the famous kdrama Boys Over Flowers "Good shoes take you to good places" enough said. Aside from shoes i really loves traveling to different places. So, when i heard about the SHOEBOX and when i read your blog post about it, i can't resist to join your giveaway. As i seen in the photos here on your blog post their flats are really lovely and they are must haves!! I really want to win this giveaway! :D

  4. I love shoes because they come in beautiful colours and they have the ability to lift my mood. A pair of red shoes, for example, makes me feel fabulously naughty :-)My second reason I love shoes is because at 5'3" it gives me added and much needed height. 3rd reason they make my legs looks killer sexy! As far as I'm concerned shoes are the ultimate accessory!I don't know why, but shoes just make me happy:)

Thanks for letting me know about Shoebox,I'm looking forward to get a pair from them.the shoes are extremely lovely!

First of all, I love shoes because they can instantly change the entire look of an outfit. Anything, from the typical t-shirt and jeans combo can instantly be glammed up with the perfect pair of flats or boat shoes! Shoes can also add to a girl's confidence - a trait that is extremely essential when you're planning to pull off something daring or casual. Second, I love love love SHOEBOX because the shoes that they sell are extremely affordable! I mean where can you find wedges under 1k right? I also love SHOEBOX because their shoes are extremely comfy. I've personally tried walking an entire day in my SHOEBOX shoes and it didn't traumatize my feet at all! :) Lastly, I love SHOEBOX shoes beceause they cater to needs of every girl - from the girly/schoolgirl type to the older/working girl market. :)

I love shoes up to bits and pieces! They're currently my obsession right now :) And I'm eyeing on one pair of shoes from Shoebox right now, I'm currently saving up for it honestly :) The brown (sequined) loafers to be exact. I love Shoebox because their shoes are definitely gorgeous plus it's affordable, it fits a student's budget like me. And their shoes are worth buying because aside from its fashionable they have good quality. For me, it should be comfort over fashion, for you to enjoy your outfit, you should be comfortable with what you're wearing not only because it's beautiful, and shoebox meets my expectations of mixing comfort + fashionable shoes :)

SHOEBOX! I fell in-love with the shoes when I first saw them in ATC. It was our fate to meet when I was looking for a pair of shoes for work and luckily, I found this store where I can match the shoes with casual outfit and even for work! I love it because the shoes are flexible and easy to match with my outfits - be it girly, laid-back, casual, or corporate. I rarely buy shoes because I sometimes doubt the quality of the materials but I am surprised when my pair survived after a whole day affair in Baguio (we didn't have a car so we walk that steep roads!!!) and until now, it's still strong as the brand new. This is what I'm looking for a pair of shoes, the quality and that can last for months (or years!) for a really affordable price. Thank you, Shoebox for existing!

  14. My family is not well-off so I grew up deprived of many things. I used hand-me-downs from my older cousins when I was still studying. Now that I am already working, the first thing I buy whenever I have extra cash. This can be considered a fixation but seeing a new pair of shoes(not necessarily expensive)on our shoe rack brings me a feeling of excitement. Each footwear I get is a piece of puzzle which I lost during my childhood days. A pair of SHOEBOX would help in completing my puzzle. With the pretty designs and comfy feel, who wouldn't love SHOEBOX shoes? :)
